Decibel Entertainment Conference
On Friday May 1, 38 students from Drama, Art and Communications Technology had the opportunity to visit the Decibel Entertainment Conference and Expo. Due to the growth of the creative industries (Music, Fashion, Dance and Film), the Expo gave students an opportunity to view these fields as a career option.
Students got an opportunity to preview a film by local director Christopher Guinness (Fade to Black). A panel of professionals in film and fashion discussed how they made their dreams into a reality and Serayah McNeill, star of the hit TV show Empire, addressed students on her path to becoming a film and music star.
