Marathon Relay Win for Maple Leaf
Congratulations to our Marathon Relay team who won the Secondary School Marathon Relay on Sunday 17th January and made Maple Leaf proud. Leigh Anderson, Caleb Bachew, Edgar Bodu, Dylan Lee, Jonathan Thompson and Kristopher Simmons each ran 4.37 miles to finish the race in a total time of 3 hours and 41 minutes.
This was an international race with runners from as far as Kenya, Columbia, Denmark and the U.S. Our team was presented with medals, a beautiful trophy and a cash prize.
