Field Trip to Wa Samaki
On Thursday, May 14 the Grade 12 Food and Nutrition class made a visit Wa Samaki, the home of Erle Rahaman-Noronha. He has taken the faltering citrus plantation that he purchased 15 years ago and turned it into a model for permaculture. The students had the privilege of seeing aquaponics, ardens, some of the animals, and taking a short hike to see the growth and development of the crops on the property.
